SCUTUM-GSA (SGSA) is a legal entity that was established in 2008, with legal personality as an association, registered by the office of the Ministry of the Interior of the Slovak Republic. The mission of the association is to support sports. The basic goal of the association is to bring together individuals and other associations for the purpose of training and educating interested parties in the field of:
Sport shooting
Defensive shooting (which simulates the legal use of a weapon)
Various sports
Martial arts
Self-defence
Extreme sports
Outdoor activities
Sports and service canine
Our effort is to satisfy special requirements at a high level and to ensure a high level of professional training for achieving top performances of the members of the association, increasing their physical and mental fitness. In this regard, we provide professional, consulting and methodical services. The association represents the interests of its members in relation to other sports organizations, state organizations and international organizations. When providing activities, we also cooperate with other organizations that operate in a similar field.
The SGSA association mainly focuses on the following activities:
We organize, provide and implement sports and competitive activities, social and training events in Slovakia (including foreign participation) and abroad.
We provide, organize and implement educational courses, educational activities and training for organizations and individuals, including theoretical and practical teaching and related activities.
We are developing cooperation with clubs focused on a similar field of activity within the Slovak Republic and with foreign clubs.
We work with internationally recognized instructors.
We educate instructors, trainers and then trainers for association activities.
We emphasize safety, responsibility and a high level of training leading to the safe and responsible handling of firearms.
As part of our activity, we provide paid services to interested parties.
We strive for high professional training and development of our members in cooperation with other organizations.
We perform sports shooting, sports and other professional activities under the guidance of qualified instructors and other responsible officials of the association. The SGSA association is governed by generally binding legal regulations in its activities.
